How it works

Fuel feed
A screw conveyor feeds waste from the hopper into the vortex furnace. The ShTR controller meters fuel and air.

Pyrolysis and afterburning
The fuel is gasified and fully burned at 1150–1400 °C, destroying dioxins and furans.

Heating the coolant
Heat goes into the hot-water boiler and on to heating, hot water or an industrial process.

Rapid gas quenching
Flue gases are cooled from 1000 to 350 °C in under 0.5 seconds.

Frequently asked questions
Which waste can be used as fuel? Does it need sorting?
The state environmental expertise approves 174 waste types by FKKO code: wood, agricultural, polymers, textiles, paper, rubber, MSW sorting residues and more. Loose waste up to 50 mm is fed by screw; lump waste up to 1 m can be loaded into the boiler. For larger waste we add a shredder.
Will there be smoke or odour? Can it be installed near housing?
Fuel is gasified and fully burned at 1150–1400 °C, then the gases are rapidly cooled, which destroys dioxins and furans and prevents them from re-forming. The sanitary protection zone is 50 metres. Measurement reports and conclusions are available on request.
Which permits are needed and how does your expertise help?
The technology has passed the state environmental expertise of Rosprirodnadzor, and the conclusion is valid indefinitely. The customer does not need to re-certify the technology: we hand over the document package for the site and help with it.
What if there is not enough waste or it is too wet?
The unit runs on waste with up to 60% moisture, but the drier the fuel, the less you need. If you are short of waste, we calculate a mixed mode or bringing in waste from neighbouring businesses. The calculator shows how much of your demand your own waste will cover.
Can our existing boiler house be converted to waste?
Yes. TV vortex furnaces dock onto standard hot-water and steam boilers. The boiler house switches from gas, coal or fuel oil to waste without replacing the plant.
How much does it cost and what is the payback?
The price depends on output, waste type and scope of supply. Equipment pages show starting prices, and the calculator gives an estimate of savings. The exact price, timing and payback are in a quotation for your site.
How does the energy service model work?
You pay only for the heat delivered. The supplier finances equipment, installation and maintenance, so the customer has no capital outlay. The model suits both businesses and municipalities.
